Galerie de la Ville is located on the lower level of the Dollard Cultural Center.and presents art exhibitions featuring a large variety of styles and media by professional artists. You are invited to attend the opening receptions.

Opening Hours:

Tuesdays and Wednesday 12 - 4 p.m,
Thursday and Friday 2 to 5 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays 1 - 4 p.m.

Guided Tours:

Galerie de la Ville offers free guided tours of its exhibitions . If you are interested in organizing a tour for your group please call 684-1012 ex. 298.

The following exhibits will be on view during the 2008 season:

Flights of Fancy: The Imaginary Canadian Stamp Collection.

Various 2D and 3D media.

Opening reception: Wednesday, September 10, 2008

Exhibition: Artists create works that reflect upon the idea of a postage stamp, what it is, what it does, where it goes, how it gest there, what people do with it once it's there. 

Special Event: Tea and Tour. Friday September 26. As part of the Journées de la culture a guided tour of this event will be followed by tea, cupcakes and conversation. Call 514­ 684­1012 ex. 209 (Dollard Seniors Association) for a free pass.

Exhibition: Through mixed media collage the artist refers to the forms, gesture and rhythms of word­based mark making to create poetic images.
